Murdock Library Commons Volunteers
Keep the heartbeat of Murdock organized and tidy. It takes many hands to keep the books shelved, dusted, organized, and ready for the students.
Veterans Day Breakfast - Nov 11th
Help us celebrate the Veterans in our Murdock community and setup the breakfast in their honor.
Thanksgiving Lunch - Nov 10th
Help us check in Kindergarten parents for their designated lunch time and help serve beverages on Nov 10th from 10:00 - 1:00pm
Fall Book Fair: Nov 13- Nov 19 2026
Murdock Fall Book fair is coming this November! We will be looking for Volunteers for setup, help with each grade level and break down. Stay tuned for more details!

NEW TO THE PTA WEBSITE in 2026-2027

We have added the 2026-2027 budget to the Our PTA tab, upholding the national PTA values of Collaboration and Accountability.

 

All volunteer opportunities are now visible on one page! No longer do parents have to search for links across multiple emails for all of the PTA's volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can plan ahead and increase impact while decreasing effort!

The Murdock Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Murdock Elementary School Foundation (MESF) are complementary organizations who fill in the gaps not covered by the Cobb County School District, and we do so in different ways. Learn more about how both organizations support Murdock Elementary.
