Interested in creating an entry? Here's what you need to do:
- Consider what the theme, I Belong, means to you. How do YOU interpret this statement, and how could YOU use art to bring your idea to life?
- Create your artwork. Once you've decided upon an idea and selected which art category you're going to work within, it's essential that you review the guidelines for your chosen category. Students opting to enter under the accessible arts category should also review the guidelines for the relevant artwork category.
- Once you have reviewed the guidelines, then you're ready to get creative! Don't forget to give your artwork a title and save your work in line with the requirements for your chosen art category. All submissions will be received electronically and will progress through the contest in this format.
- Prepare an Artist's Statement. In addition to your piece of artwork, you will need to write a short (10-100 word) Artist's Statement that will accompany your submission. This is an important part of your entry as it is carefully assessed by the judges! Click on this link and scroll down to better understand how to approach this.
- Submit your entry by October 27, 2025. Once points 1-4 are complete and you've double checked that you've prepared everything in line with the guidelines for your chosen art category, you're ready to submit your work! Submissions can be made by clicking here.
We can't wait to see all of your incredible artistic talents!
