Your Vote Needed: Proposed Dues Change

Last year, the Georgia PTA increased its portion of member dues. Murdock PTA chose not to pass that increase along to families at the time.
The tradeoff is that the additional contribution built into each membership fee no longer covers what it was designed to fund. The programs you see throughout the year — classroom grants, school events, teacher support and more — depend on that funding. A $5 increase brings us back to where we need to be.
To make this change official, we need a member vote. Murdock PTA is calling a Special General Membership Meeting on June 30 at 6 PM, held virtually via Google Meet.

We need 15 members present to hold the vote. Your attendance makes it count.
