Reflections Applications Open Soon: What My Culture Means to Me

Welcome back, Murdock Mustangs! We hope your summer was full of fun, discovery, and maybe a little team spirit. Seeing so many cultures come together around the games this summer was a powerful reminder of how shared experiences connect us.

We’re ready to kick off Reflections, the PTA’s annual arts program celebrating creativity across all grade levels—PreK through 5th, including Accessible Arts. Students may submit work in Dance, Music, Photography, Film, Literature, and Visual Arts. This year’s theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” invites students to express the traditions, stories, and experiences that shape who they are.

You can learn about Reflections’ history and guidelines before the submission form goes live. We’ll honor all participants at a reception later this year—more information to come.

We’re excited to share that we had Mustangs earn state and national recognition last year. A warm congratulations to Sam for winning 1st place in Visual Arts, Accessible Arts Division at the state level.
